Dechert boosts life sciences team with new partners
Dechert has added two new partners to its IP practice in the US.
Chad Davis, based in the firm’s Boston office, has a scientific background in chemistry and supports clients in structuring and maintaining complex patent portfolios. He has experience in patent procurement, post-grant challenges, and infringement disputes.
In Dechert’s New York office, Katherine Helm will focus her practice on representing clients in the pharmaceutical and biotechnology industries, assisting with complex patent litigation and healthcare regulatory matters. She also has expertise in licensing and commercial transactions in the life sciences.
Jeffrey Pliers, chair of the firm’s IP group, said: “Kassie’s and Chad’s significant experience advising clients across a broad range of complex domestic and cross-border IP matters brings increased depth to our global group of IP lawyers.”
