Kilpatrick Townsend boosts life sciences practice
Law firm Kilpatrick Townsend & Stockton has added a chemistry and life sciences team to its Washington, DC office.
Partners Justin Krieger, Keith Fredlake and Jeffrey Gendzwill have joined the firm along with counsel Rodney Rothwell and associates Nicoletta Kennedy and Troy Petersen.
The lawyers join Kilpatrick Townsend from Roberts Mlotkowski Safran & Cole, a boutique IP firm based in Tysons Corner, Virginia.
Krieger (pictured below) is a patent attorney who specialises in client counselling, district court and patent office litigation, and patent prosecution.
Fredlake (pictured below) focuses on drafting and prosecuting patent applications, mostly in the chemical and life sciences industry.
Patent attorney Gendzwill (pictured below) focuses on matters including client counselling, portfolio strategy and management, as well as domestic and foreign patent preparation and prosecution, primarily in chemistry and the life sciences industry.
Jamie Graham, co-chair of the firm’s health and life sciences team, said: “The life sciences and chemical industries have seen considerable transformation over the years and bolstering the firm’s patent practice in DC has been a strategic goal of the firm."
